Bio: Fatima Sana Shaikh is an Indian actress known for her performances in Hindi films. She started her career as a child artist with notable roles in Chachi 420 (1997) and One 2 Ka 4 (2001). Her major breakthrough came in 2016 when she portrayed wrestler Geeta Phogat in Dangal, the highest-grossing Indian film of all time, earning global recognition.

Following Dangal, Shaikh starred in films like Thugs of Hindostan (2018) and streaming projects such as Ludo (2020), Ajeeb Daastaans (2021), and Modern Love Mumbai (2022). In 2023, she portrayed Indira Gandhi in the biographical drama Sam Bahadur. She is also set to appear in the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Aruvi.

Born and raised in Mumbai, Shaikh’s father is from Jammu, and her mother is from Srinagar. Though raised in a mixed-faith family, she identifies as an atheist. Aside from acting, Shaikh has been open about her experiences living with epilepsy to raise awareness of the condition.
