Bio: Malavika Mohanan, is an Indian actress and the daughter of cinematographer K. U. Mohanan. She grew up in Mumbai and earned a degree in Mass Media from Wilson College.
Her acting debut came in 2013 with Pattam Pole, following an introduction by actor Mammootty. Although her early films received mixed responses, her breakthrough came with the Hindi film Beyond the Clouds (2017), directed by Majid Majidi, where she earned critical praise for her role.
She transitioned to Tamil cinema with Petta (2019) and gained commercial success with Master (2021) alongside Vijay. Her recent projects include the Malayalam film Christy (2023), the upcoming Tamil historical action film Thangalaan (2024), and her Hindi debut Yudhra (2024). Malavika is also set to debut at the Telugu cinema with The Raja Saab.
