For Nidhi Kumar and Mohak Malhotra, this was the season where they were to see themselves as one of the last couples that had come out victorious after conquering all the given challenges throughout the season1. Major sticking power and mutual respect were cited as what led them through various temptations and trials the island had in store for them. The finale ended with emotional confrontations and surprising revelations.

Season 1 Highlights

  • Chetna Pande and Nishank Swami: They were in a relationship for three years but were seen leaving the island together alone.
  • Nikita Bhamidipati and Tayne De Villiers: They got separated in the middle of the show, and they were seen leaving the island from episode 25.
  • Cheshta Bhagat and Arjun Aneja: After 11 long years, Cheshta splits from Arjun, and Cheshta is last seen leaving the island alone.
  • Gargee Nandy and Ronak Gupta: This was one of the longest journeys there had ever been, and they decided to end, and Gargee left from that island solo.

And then, of course, came the final break up between Nikita Bhamidipati and Tayne De Villiers, to the warm triumph of Nidhi and Mohak. Host Karan Kundrra applauds the winning duo for their clarity and commitment right from the beginning, pointing to the journey to something that indeed stands as proof of the strength of love and dedication.
